Bagging Room Operator - Turtle Lake, WI

Position Overview

This person will be responsible for operating and cleaning the bagging equipment in the facility and sanitation of the general plant.  Must be able to fill in documentation completely and correctly at all times.

Essential Job Functions

  • Operate equipment as directed to produce a safe, quality product.
  • Perform testing and checks for CCP’s in an accurate manner.
  • Be able to cross-train and operate several different processes.
  • Understand the importance of good sanitation, personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Recognize when systems are not functioning properly and request assistance when needed.
  • Perform sanitation in a safe complete manner and document as necessary.
  • Understand the proper use of the various cleaning compounds.
  • Must document information clearly as required for production records.
  • Must collect product samples in a safe, sterile fashion. Ensure that samples are properly identified and documented.
  • Must follow plant guidelines to keep the bagging room as close to a clean room environment as possible.
  • Ability to climb, squat, bend, kneel, twist and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Work in a safe manner.
  • Assist with all other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Food plant experience a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be dependable.
  • Pre-employment drug screen.

Cheese Technician - Darlington, WI

Position Overview

Immediate Supervisor: Production Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary: The cheese tech / production employee does the daily work on the production floor including but is not limited to operating the barrel line to meet the daily production requirements. Running the tilt presses, conveyors, sealer, level and palletizer.

Essential Job Functions

  • Have knowledge of and understand all equipment involved in the cheese making process after the curd is transferred from the EFV’s.
  • Accurately follow directions of immediate supervisor
  • Checks and documents product at the probe stations, and cheese scale.
  • Be able to perform duties using chemicals for cleaning and sanitation of the equipment at the end of the make day.
  • Reports and follows up on all repairs of equipment as needed
  • Perform all other assignments as required

  • Prefer high school graduate
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule

Warehouse Operator - Darlington, WI

Position Overview

Immediate Supervisor: Production Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary: The warehouse operator is in charge of all operations in the warehouse that include but are not limited to: caring for inventory as it is produced on production days, indexing and controlling inventory in the cooling warehouse, and operation of forklifts in a safe manner, inspection of both incoming materials and truck inspections with minimal direct supervision.

Essential Job Functions

  • Have knowledge of and understand all equipment involved in receiving and shipment of dry goods and equipment, as well as cheese being shipped to customers.
  • Knowledge of sampling equipment and sample handling and storage
  • Documents all product, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Maintain the warehouse areas by sanitary measures to meet Federal and State regulations and practice quality control of all products
  • Accurately run all tests necessary for quality control.
  • Checks and documents product temperatures
  • Reports and follows up on all repairs of equipment as needed
  • Perform all other assignments as required

Job Requirements

  • Must possess or are able to obtain Forklift certification.
  • Be able to accurately record inventory and be able to read and understand quality control measures.
