Position Overview

This person will be responsible for operating and cleaning the bagging equipment in the facility and sanitation of the general plant.  Must be able to fill in documentation completely and correctly at all times.


Essential Job Functions

  • Operate equipment as directed to produce a safe, quality product.
  • Perform testing and checks for CCP’s in an accurate manner.
  • Be able to cross-train and operate several different processes.
  • Understand the importance of good sanitation, personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Position Overview

Summary: It is the responsibility of the Quality Technician to assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of plant food safety and quality systems in compliance with company, industry and regulatory standards and customer requirements.  Conduct laboratory testing on products.

  • Assist with promotion of quality standards and expectations, execution of accountability of employees, to SQF standards, and implementation of quality and food safety communication and training systems.
  • Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of the plant HACCP program.
  • Assist with plant sanitation, food safety and quality programs per company expectations.

Summary: The Quality Assurance & Safety Supervisor is responsible for assisting with development and implementation of plant food safety and quality systems in compliance with the company, industry and regulatory standards. They will also assist with maintaining a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace policies and initiatives including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents and workplace hazards; and investigating such incidents and hazards.

  • Maintain and perform programs including/ pre-operational inspection, Pathogen Environmental Monitoring, allergen qualification, roof leak monitoring/reporting and pest control.
  • Maintain master sanitation schedule.
  • Maintain and perform training on departmental-specific policies, procedures and programs.
  • Perform Monthly GMP Audit, and Plastic & Glass register Audit.
  • Assist with the weekend coverage in lab as necessary.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Manager and technicians as necessary.
